Kids can be quite cruel when it comes to pointing a finger at someone.

On one hand this is a good thing because it shows their pure honesty and complete lack of hypocrisy, but generally when you call someone “loser” usually it takes them years trying to prove the opposite.

Confidence comes with the age, the gained experience and the achievements. In the early years, when you have nothing to hold on to the battle against the mock tags and nicknames everything seems lost forever.

And here comes the important responsibility for the parent or loved ones to act as a role model.

Building up the child’s self-esteem by treating them with respect and repeatedly pointing its best qualities should be one of the top tasks for every parent. We are the example the little ones look up to and that’s why we have the obligation to be as encouraging as possible.
